Safe formula for your baby's skin.

Diaper rash is a form of dermatitis that can make a baby's skin sore, red, scaly, and tender. It may be caused by leaving on a wet diaper for too long, excessive bowel movement or diarrhea, chafing or rubbing, using a new product/diaper, having sensitive skin or introducing new foods to your baby’s diet.

Diaper rash usually clears up with simple at-home treatments, such as air drying, more-frequent diaper changes and ointment but if it doesn’t, can lead to bacterial and fungal infections. Sometimes the best way to prevent diaper rash is to treat it before it ever starts. Baby Bum Cream can be used at every change as it glides on the skin and it’s very easy to apply without leaving any greasy residue, providing immediate relief to diaper irritation .

Everyone knows the benefit of Zinc in the treatment of dermatitis [1] but not everyone is aware that several studies have shown the benefit of using Aloe Vera as a remedy for diaper rash because of its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties [2]. Aloe stimulates fibroblast which produces collagen and elastin fibers making the skin more elastic and less wrinkled. It also has cohesive effects on the superficial flaking epidermal cells by sticking them together, which softens the skin allowing faster healing [3] [4]
